The farmhouse is situated in the heart of the antique township Podesteria di Carpena, door of access to the Vara Valley, very close to the Foce, from where you can see La Spezia and the Poets' Gulf which lies between Lerici and Portovenere. If you are a trekking fan... next to the farmhouse starts the trail number 1 which will lead you within a few minutes to the ridge of the Cinque Terre. If you prefer to discover the surroundings with a mean of transport, you can reach the town center without any problems by car. From here trains and ferry boats go towards the 5 Terre, Lerici and Portovenere. Or you can go towards the Vara Valley or the Lunigiana, visit Carrara's marble querries and the close mundane Versilia.
What are the season's indicators in our farmhouse? The herbs' aura, the odoriferous basil, the evergreen olives, the rosmary, the myrtle, the laurel, which start right behind the house, and which will accompany you until the wood with its noises and bewitched hidden bogeys.
